This course is designed to give students a solid foundation in the English language as a means of communication and academic study, with both a focus on specific skills and an emphasis on the integration of each aspect.
The course is organized on 3 levels of proficiency: ESL Essentials 099, ESL Essentials 100 and ESL Essentials 200. The ESL Essentials 099 component consists of beginner Grammar, Word Formation, Reading Comprehension, Speaking and Writing classes. The ESL Essentials 100 component includes Golden Rules of Grammar, Word Formation, Reading Comprehension, Speaking and Writing classes. The ESL Essentials 200 component is made up of Grammar, Word Formation, Phrasal Verbs and Expressions, Killer Words, Reading Comprehension, Speaking and Writing classes.
