Farah Sami

Farah did her Bachelor in Science (B.Sc.) from McMaster University in Mathematics, Statistics and Chemistry. She did her teacher training in ESL, Mathematics and Economics from Christchurch College of Education, New Zealand.

Farah has been teaching for four years. She was the head of the department for Mathematics at Chisholm Academy, a private high school in Ontario. She was also tutoringESLstudents where she was preparing the students forTOEFLand MELAB and helping them improve their essay writing skills. She moved toVancouvera year and half ago. She started teachingESLat Franklin English Language College a year ago in July, 2006 and has been preparing students forTOEFLand SAT examinations since. She teaches mathematics and chemistry at Fraser Academy a high school in Vancouver. She is planning to do her Master of Education (M.Ed.) next year from SFU.
